VRMA Spring 2019 Forum Recap

Arriving in Charlotte late evening on Sunday, April 14th, our amazing team geared up for another fantastic VRMA conference. The VRMA 2019 Spring Forum Recap gathered several of the country’s largest vendors and vacation rental companies to discuss the emerging trends and operational improvements. This two day educational and enriching affair offered a variety of breakout sessions ranging from optimizing your digital marketing solutions to addressing front of the house enhancements— and everything in between.

Topsail Island | Beach Access Information

After an extensive winter season, we are ecstatic to announce the list of public beach accesses available around Topsail Island. We are thankful to all of the amazing city and state-wide officials and workers who labor away making out beaches as perfect as they once were. Below is a list of scheduled beach repairs and updates. New Surf City Bridge Traffic & Roundabout Information

After 60 remarkable years, the Surf City Swing Bridge has been retired. Long overdue for replacement, builders began in September of 2016 and finished 10 months ahead of schedule. On December 18th, 2018, the new Surf City bridge opened to the public with overall positive reviews.

Surf City Votes On Beach Nourishment Program

The town of Surf City held a town hall meeting on Friday, January 11th and the turnout was overwhelming. Hundreds of residents and business owners gathered inside the Surf City Community Center to listen to three planned proposals brought forth by TI Coastal LLC, a coastal engineering firm specializing in dredging efforts.

HomeOwner Accounting

Jessica Scarborough, our Accounting Administrator, is working diligently to complete 2018 End of Year accounting for home owners. Information including 1099 and yearly statement information will be mailed by January 31^st.

Vacation Booking Trends

As was previously mentioned, overall bookings are trending slightly ahead of last year and this is great news! We are in the process of confirming guests who booked for 2019 during 2018. Guests will have until 1/22 to complete their agreements and make their first payments, converting their bookings to confirmed reservations. Guests who do not confirm with signed agreements and the first payments due by 1/22 will have received several reminders before they are canceled and the dates previously reserved opened up for general booking purposes.
